Water fountain
Moving water encourages dogs to drink more, which matters in the heat. Easier to keep clean than a bowl that sits all day.
Treat-dispensing pet camera
See, talk to, and toss a treat to your dog while you're out. We reach for one two ways: watching how a dog handles being alone during separation work, and checking in on a pet-sitting client between visits. Heads up: some models need a paid plan to unlock the camera.
Freestanding pet gate
Blocks off a room or doorway without mounting hardware. We use gates constantly for management: baby-gating a trigger, a safe space, a settle spot.
Wire exercise pen (x-pen)
A flexible pen for a safe, contained space anywhere in the house or yard. Great for puppies, new rescues, or a defined spot during a busy visit.
Cooling mat (gel-based)
A no-power cooling pad a dog can flop on to shed heat. We like it for crate days and hot afternoons.
Elevated slow-feed bowl stand
Raises the bowl to an easier height for big or older dogs, and the slow-feed versions pace fast eaters at the same time.
Travel food storage container
Keeps food fresh and portioned for a trip or a sitter, so no one's guessing at meals.
Probiotic supplement (FortiFlora)
Vet-favorite probiotic for digestive upset, the kind a diet change or a stressful boarding week can bring on. Also a tasty food topper.
Elevated cot / place bed
A raised cot gives a dog a clear "place" to settle on, which is the backbone of station training and a calm default when guests come in. Air flows underneath too, so it doubles as a cool spot off a hot floor.
Collapsible travel crate
A folding crate for travel, sitting, or a temporary safe space. Sets up in minutes and stores flat.
Flat mat or bed
Flat on the floor rather than raised, which is what mat work and the Relaxation Protocol actually want: a surface a dog can lie fully stretched out on and roll off without a lip in the way.
Orthopedic bed
Memory foam rather than a stuffed cushion, so a bony older dog is not resting on the floor through an inch of fiber. Worth it for a dog who is stiff getting up, sore after activity, or carrying extra weight through their joints. Get the washable cover: this is the bed that gets used every night.
