• Agreement & signature: a digital signature image confirming your service agreement.
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe, we never store card numbers.
• Usage data: basic app activity (logins, bookings, messages) for service delivery.

• Create and manage your account and bookings.
• Communicate with you about your services and appointments.
• Contact your emergency contact or veterinarian in an emergency.
• Process payments securely through Stripe.
• Send service-related notifications (no marketing spam).
• Improve our services and app experience.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate our app:

• Firebase / Google: account authentication, database storage, file storage, and push notifications. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe: secure payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Netlify: website hosting. Governed by Netlify's Privacy Policy.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (things like which pages are viewed, general location, and device type). Analytics uses cookies and does not identify you personally to us.

Some pages in our free training resources display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show you ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

Ads never appear in our client portal or the Hearth & Hounds Hub, and we never share your account information with advertisers.

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and role-based access controls so only authorized people can access your information.

While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.

We will only use photos or videos of your dog for business purposes (e.g. social media, marketing) if you have given explicit consent via the media release during onboarding. You may revoke this consent at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information via your profile settings.
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
• Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings.
